Rivera will present “MCA Lenders in Bankruptcy—is it the Wild West or a New Frontier?” at the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association May CLE Luncheon at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the University Club of Tampa (or virtual). The panel presentation will explore issues regarding merchant cash advances and whether they are a creative solution to a small business’s cash flow problems or a form of predatory lending, or somewhere in between.
